Doch recht passend

Es gibt einen Witz über Hans Küng, den Theologen, der nicht gerade für Bescheidenheit bekannt ist:

Ein Journalist an Küng: Wußten Sie es schon, Sie wurden zum Papst gewählt!
Küng: Was? Dann bin ich ja nicht mehr unfehlbar!

Er hat mal wieder bewiesen, daß der Witz leider wahr ist.

    naja jetzt kommt er halt schon ein wenig in die Jahre der liebe Hans und wird ein bisserl schrullig; aber die Idee mit der “Liebeskongregation” ist doch wirklich süß! (Ein (un)passenderes Wort fällt mir leider dazu nicht ein.)

    Oh, come on, I really don’t think he ever thought he was infallible, a bit irritable, but not infallibe–or, whateverible. Get the joke? Check the St. Louis Post Dispatch about drug testing at CBC. Jack

    Thanks for the hint, Jack. That sounds interesting. I think it’s a fair game to be tested. Drug abuse is illegal, so one shouldn’t be surprised if that throws you out of school. The problem is: drug abuse won’t diminish that way, you just get it out of your sight and it will come up or worsen in an different spot (the public schools).

    And: I think I got the joke. After I’ve read some stuff from Küng, especially his “Christsein”, I really guess he think’s to be infallible. Never read so much self-praise.
